One hour with Diana is worth 100 hours with another coach!
—Senior Executive, International Government Agency
Having benefited from Diana’s coaching in my own career, I refer senior people to Diana as I am confident in her ability to get the best from people and to develop more confident and capable leaders. She connects well with people, and is easy to work with. She is not afraid to say it as it is while giving the encouragement and support necessary to achieve the outcome needed.
Diana isn’t an off the shelf advisor. Her approach is perceptive and sometimes uncomfortable; this is because we work with the real issues that create progress. She facilitates in a way that we as leaders are confronted by ourselves – it is up to us. She helped us to understand rapidly to work with the real things. Some of these were unexpected. Using her unique and highly participative approach Diana assisted us to easily address, then resolve these, creating great progress. Importantly to me, Diana also gave us significant ways of accepting team members joining or leaving our group while remaining focused and connected.
This is hands down the best leadership development I have ever had. It helped me to observe myself and others in intensely practical, real-life settings and to recalibrate my thinking and actions. I have become more intentional and confident in my current role.

I found Executive Presence to be quite profound, in that it really challenged my thinking about myself and what is really important in being a leader. One of my biggest realisations was that all leaders experience self-doubt - what is important is to recognise this, deal with it and not get hung up on it as a weakness. Diana is great at delivering the programme - she challenges, confronts at times, and really pushes you outside of your comfort zone. But all in a constructive and empathetic way - it really is a great way to learn. I’d recommend this programme for senior managers, who want to direct their efforts on presenting themselves with impact and influence.
Diana’s insight, persuasion and tenacity have been instrumental in helping my leadership team reflect on the best they bring to the table, and also where we individually and collectively could have more impact, and more positive impact.
She is a thoughtful person who knows what she’s doing, and doesn’t let you get away with the easy answers, or dodging the issue. She brings passion and humour to the table, and has been really great to work with.
—Deputy Chief Executive
Diana worked with my newly-formed leadership team following the establishment of a new Agency. Here, her skills were on full display. First, she worked with me to establish what I wanted from the six sessions. This was so powerful in terms of ensuring the desired outcomes were, in fact, met. Second, she brought the new team together by establishing a safe framework for engagement. And, third, she gave all the managers contextually-framed skills that only someone of her experience could do in half a dozen sessions. And Diana insisted on post-session meetings to cement the accountability – consultancy at its best!
Diana’s considered approach helped me gain insight into situations and relationships. This is challenging stuff but essential to get a shift in culture to support change and new ways of working. I highly recommend Diana’s expertise to learn new ways of communicating to achieve positive results.
—Jane MacGeorge, NZ Nurses Organisation
When coaching senior managers of new teams, Diana has the skill to fully understand the leadership and team building issues that need to be addressed to lift performance. Diana wants you to succeed and demonstrates this by being friendly, open in her discussions with you, organised and accessible when you interact with her.
The kind of people Diana attracts to her courses are a feature of her work. Because of her good reputation she attracts a really good range of people and sharing experiences with such different people adds to your tool set.
Some years ago, I asked Diana to assist a senior manager with respect to her Executive Presence. What impressed me was Diana’s sense of accountability: her accountability to my staff member, and to me, and the Agency I led; and the emphasis that Diana placed on my accountability back to her, as the leadership coach, in terms of ongoing support for my manager. It was this dual accountability model that was so powerful and that has led me to recommend Diana to many Chief Executives over the years.
