Unexpectedly this summer, I had a chance to participate in Michel Tuffery and Flox’s collab workshop in Russell, Northland. Of the three examples here, the two fish are made from hand cut stencils overlayed and spray painted. The ‘D’ is printed from a woodcut with pacific designs.
As a volunteer, Diana chairs the Wellington Homeless Women’s Trust. The Trust provides three months safe secure accommodation with social services support and personal advocacy for homeless women who want to turn their lives around and re-establish themselves. We assist women to move into long term and sustainable housing.The Trust works in collaboration with other Wellington social service Agencies (DCM, the Soup Kitchen, Salvation Army Youth Services, Ngati Kahununu, the Night Shelter and is guided by WCC’s Te Mahana strategy to end homelessness in Wellington.
